This morning we conclude our short series of messages centred around the first five chapters of the book of Acts. To recap, the overall challenges we’ve explored have been:
- to know the security and power of the gospel and the importance of being rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ
- to live empowered lives, filled by the person of the Holy Spirit, who desires to increase our influence for God’s glory
- that we might know an expansion of courage to take hold of every opportunity to share the greatness of God’s grace with those around us
- to cultivate and implement a Spirit-led sense of Kingdom authority in our daily walk.
Today we are concluding by looking at power handling! How do we ensure that the God-given power we have access to can be used most effectively, what pitfalls might we face on our journey and how can they be avoided? All will be revealed!
