Sundays

About our time together…

We begin at 10.30am with a time of worship for everyone, incorporating God-centred songs and hymns, as well as prayer and, sometimes, communion (also known as ‘breaking of bread’). Our style is mainly contemporary and informal so please feel free to sit or stand as you wish. A relevant message is presented from the Bible, which we hope you’ll find stimulating, encouraging and challenging.

About children…

Children are always welcome! We have a well-stocked crèche area for parents with children aged under two. After the worship time, children aged two to eleven are invited to their own groups to enjoy teaching, craft activities, singing, playing etc. It is all done with a Bible theme by our experienced and DBS-checked leaders.

Most weeks we also run a group for young people aged eleven and over. These sessions are themed on material appropriate for this age, to equip them to follow Jesus in today’s world.

About communion…

We break bread two or three times a month as part of our worship. It’s open to all who follow Jesus, as we remember the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.

About offerings…

A collection is not usually taken up but, if you feel you would like to contribute to the work here, an offering box is available.

About refreshments…

We feel that a huge part of our coming together is to enjoy friendship, so there’s always tea and coffee after the meeting — the perfect way to catch up with existing friends, and hopefully make some new ones! The meeting normally concludes at around 12 noon but if you need to leave before then, please feel free to do so.

About parking…

You’re welcome to use our free car park. We try to be considerate to local residents so, if the car park is full, please don’t park in front of homes — other nearby on-street parking is available. There are disabled parking spaces beside The King’s Centre, and all our facilities have disabled access.
