The following face-to-face groups are on hold during the COVID-19 outbreak. We’ll let you know here and on our social media when we’re back up and running.
The Ark toddler group
Tuesdays during term-time
1.30pm — 3.00pm
The Ark is a friendly group for pre-school children and their carers — parents, grandparents, child-minders, etc. are all welcome. Sessions include free play, activities such as craft or play dough, refreshments and group time for parachute play, songs or puppet stories.
We vary the selection of toys from week to week, and it includes ride-ons, soft play, construction toys, play house and dressing up, jigsaws and table-top activities. We also have an area for babies with a baby nest, baby gym, etc.
Snack time is a lovely social time together round the table, with a selection from fruit, bread sticks, biscuits and raisins. Juice or water is served for children and tea, coffee or cold drinks for adults. Special events sometimes call for cakes, Shrove Tuesdays pancakes or a party tea. We try to accommodate special diets, so please talk to us if you have any concerns.
We’re open Tuesdays during school term-time between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. There’s no charge, but you can leave a donation, if you’d like.
Sunday morning groups
11.10am – 12.15pm
Following a time of family worship, children aged 2 to 11 are invited to the Splash and All Stars groups for age-appropriate Bible-themed activities and teaching, led by our DBS-checked team of children’s workers.
Email us for details of our next holiday club
In the school summer we often hold a children’s holiday club for ages 5 to 11. There’s an exciting mix of games and activities — a fun way to find out more about faith and God. If you’d like us to let you know about the next holiday club, email us to be added to our mailing list for forthcoming events at The King’s Centre.
