The Ark toddler group

Tuesdays during term-time
1.30pm — 3.00pm

The Ark welcomes families with babies and pre-school children. It would be helpful if you could complete the family registration form below before your first visit. There’s no need to book for sessions – just come along whenever you’d like.

What can you expect at the Ark toddler group?

Sessions include free play, activities such as craft or play dough, snack time and a group time for songs, parachute play, etc.

There’s a range of toys, such as ride-ons, soft play, construction toys, jigsaws, playhouse, dressing up and more. We also have an area for babies including toys, baby nest and baby gym.

At snack time, there’s a selection from fruit, toast, etc. Water or juice is served for children, and tea, coffee or cold drinks for adults. For special events we sometimes have cakes, Shrove Tuesday pancakes or a party tea. We try to accommodate special diets, so please talk to us if you have any concerns.

Toilets have potties/toilet training seats and a nappy change unit. If you’re arriving by car, we have our own car park and, if you’re bringing a pram, there’s space to park it indoors.

We’re open Tuesdays during school term-time between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. There’s no charge, but you can leave a donation, if you’d like. If you have any queries, please feel free to email us.

COVID-19: Hand sanitiser is available and we disinfect touchpoints.

CCC kids

Sundays 11am – 12 noon
There’s lots of fun for 5s to 11s, as Bible-based sessions are led by our creative team of DBS-checked leaders. Following a time of family worship at 10:30, children are invited to the CCC Kids group. Just ask the welcome team when you arrive or email us if you’d like more information or to introduce yourselves beforehand.

Holiday fun

In the school holidays, we often join with other local churches to put on a week of family activities plus a daily lunch. If you’d like us to let you know about the next Holiday Fun session, email us to be added to our mailing list for forthcoming events.

safeguarding

Safeguarding is a priority at CCC. All our children’s and youth workers have criminal records checks and receive safeguarding training. We receive safeguarding support from thirtyone:eight and they can be contacted in an emergency or for independent advice on 0303 003 1111. A copy of our safeguarding policy is available on request.
