Vision day

This Sunday is a special morning, where we’ll get an insight into God’s faithfulness over the last year and look at some of the challenges God is putting our way for the future, plus get an overview of how Church money has been used.

On behalf of the elders and trustees, I want to thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement, particularly over the last 12 months. To those who have given so generously into the work with your finances, time and talent, we honour you and appreciate all you are doing. The Lord continues to be wonderfully faithful and deserves our highest praise, and we join with the words of Paul, who declares, ‘Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.’ (2 Corinthians 2:14)

What a powerful reminder that, despite the challenges we face, we are called to proceed in victory as we impart the fragrance of Christ everywhere! Having the assurance that we can live confidently in the one who has dealt with our separation from God and defeated death by his own awesome resurrection should radically change the way that we walk! Let today be a declaration of victory and a fresh expectation that we are set free for such a time as this, to make a difference to our world through our God-gifted lives!
